Hi, I’m Bekah and this is my blog where I share tips to veg-curious folks about eliminating or reducing animal products from their diet. I come from a background where meat and dairy are the center of all social functions, so I know how challenging it can be to convert to a plant-based diet. This blog is a judgement-free zone and subscribes to the reducetarian ethos: regardless of your motives, any reduction in your consumption of animal products reduces harm. That is something I can stand behind!
I am also a biological anthropologist, so I would be remiss if this blog didn’t cover other aspects important to the goals of the reducetarian movement, such as how animal agriculture and consumption intersect with environmental and social problems, and what we know about the cognitive capabilities of farmed animals.
I hope you find this blog useful as you embark on your reducetarian journey!
